External Examiner: BA Early Childhood Studies & EY ITT
The School of Education and Sociology at the University of Portsmouth is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for the BA Early Childhood Studies and Early Years ITT.
The BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies is a three-year programme where students explore and analyse the sociological, psychological, political and philosophical issues affecting early childhood today. There are a range of core and optional modules which allow students to develop their learning pathways. The University also offers the Graduate Practitioner Competencies to ensure students can make links to professional practice, this also provides employability pathways after graduation.

The External Examiner is required from 1st October 2020. In addition to examining the modules, attendance at the Module Assessment Board held in June is required. A fee of £400 is paid for this role.
