Getting it right in the Early Years Foundation Stage: A review of the evidence (Early Education)

Getting it right in the Early Years Foundation Stage:
A review of the evidence
Professor Chris Pascal and Professor Tony Bertram

This is a vitally important meeting for all those working within the Foundation Stage as Professors Chris Pascal and Tony Bertram will be coming to Sheffield to share the findings of the recent literature review of the most recent research evidence underpinning the Early Years Foundation Stage.
This important meeting will share the detail of the review and the implications for practice for everyone involved, across the sectors in the EYFS to enable us all to make an informed response to the current consultation on the proposed changes.

The review, commissioned by the Early Years Coalition made up of the major organisations working with the 0-5 age group, found no evidence to support the extensive proposed changes to the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Come and hear where the report identifies a case for change and recommends the government’s review of the EYFS adheres to four key principles.
